Found Objects: turning trash into treasure

Raise your hand if you cannot stop scavenging the sands of your local beaches.

This raw, naturally tumbled quartz was found on the shores of the Montauk Outer Beach on July 19.

The first of many piecemeal pieces (to come) in a collection that I've yet to name.

I've collected so much beach glass, shells and raw stones - some of which is just begging to be turned in to a wearable keepsake.
