Pyrite

As warm as the noon day sun. Radiating hope, and the peace of mind that comes with the dawn of a new day.

Pyrite cube set in handcrafted crescent moon brass pendant

Pyrite, meaning “stone that throws fire”, or more commonly known as “Fools Gold” gets its name from the Greek word “pyr”, meaning fire. The Greeks were the first culture to use Pyrite for jewelry and continued for hundreds of years.

Ruled by the astrological sign of Leo, and vibrating to the number 3, pyrite can be found in Brazil, Peru, the U.S., and Spain. The ethically sourced pyrite cub used in this necklace, and our forthcoming collection originates from Peru.

On the mystical side, Pyrite is said to bring luck and prosperity by providing a positive point of view to life. Attitude IS everything after all. It also elevates the emotional body, strengthening desire, or the will to persevere and succeed.

Pyrite is a unique protector as it possesses a defending quality which will allay all forms of negative vibrations on the physical, etheric and emotional levels.
